The 2011 Diamond Rats continued their hot streaking going a perfect 3-0 this weekend at the Heat Showcase at Appalachian St. On Saturday they defeated the South Charlotte Panthers 16u 11-3 and finished the day with a 10-1 victory over the On Deck O’s 15U.

Brett Cash was 5 for 7 on the day with 3 RBI. Lucas LaSalle was 4-7 with 3 RBI. Cody Strickland had 4 hits and 3 RBI.
On Sunday the D’Rats played one game at Appalachian State vs. The On Deck O’s 16U. Brett Cash continued his torrid hitting streak going three for three needing a home run to hit for the cycle. Lucas Lasalle stayed hot going 3 for 4 at the plate and William Frazier, Hunter Conley and Matt Rembielack chipped in 2 hits apiece.
